I feel grateful to have been raised in California in the 70's and 80's...a time of sand in your hair, drives through the Santa Cruz Mountains in my Volkswagen Bug with pennies in my pocket, quick trips to Malibu from Riverside during my college years, just for a few minutes of putting my toes in the sand. And childhood memories in Capitola, smelling a rush of begonias and sea salt.

As someone who grew up in Northern California, I think the best part of life is that California glow...the one you feel inside and it shows on the outside! The coast, salt air, sun, surf, and sand. The mountains, redwoods, peaks, and trails. When you can’t get outside, this candle will bring a little sunshine inside.

WILD SURF
Inspiration: Santa Monica, CA
Find your wild side in the surf. Riding the waves has likely existed since humans began swimming in the ocean. Archaeological evidence suggests that ancient Peruvian cultures surfed on reed watercraft. This custom blend of aged Beachwood and scents of the ocean evokes a grounding feeling within.

CAPITOLA
Inspiration: Capitola, California
The Begonia Festival in Capitola lasted 65 years. Capitola's candle scent is an homage to this wharf town’s celebrated flower, lending to high notes of begonia and poppies. It also has hints of Pacific kelp and sea foam reminiscent of this beautiful beach town’s aromas in the summertime.

Candle Safety:  It is recommended to burn the candle for approximately 2 hours the first time to ensure an even surface with no tunneling. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use.
